A Trusted Partner in Commercial Glazing

Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) is a general merchandise retailer headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, founded in 1902. It traces its roots to Goodfellow Dry Goods, a Minneapolis store that moved into a new building owned by George Dayton in 1902; Dayton bought the business from its retiring owner, and it was renamed Dayton Dry Goods Company in 1903. The first Target store opened in May 1962 in Roseville, Minnesota, and the parent company, then Dayton-Hudson Corporation, adopted the Target Corporation name in 2000. As of August 1, 2026, Target operated 2,019 stores across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and more than 75% of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of a Target store.

Target employs approximately 415,000 team members and reported $104.8 billion in net sales for fiscal 2025, which ended January 31, 2026. Its stores fulfilled 97.6% of that year's merchandise sales, a figure that includes in-store purchases and digital orders shipped from stores or filled through Order Pickup, Drive Up, and Same Day Delivery. The company also owns the delivery service Shipt and the advertising business Roundel, and it has given 5% of its profit to communities since 1946.

Target sells more than 40 owned brands, including Good & Gather, Cat & Jack, Threshold, up&up, and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, which the company says generate more than $30 billion in revenue a year. Owned and exclusive brands together account for approximately 30% of its merchandise sales.

Michael Fiddelke, a two-decade Target veteran who previously served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, became chief executive officer on February 1, 2026. He succeeded Brian Cornell, CEO since 2014, who now serves as executive chair of the board. California has more Target stores than any other state: the company's fiscal 2025 annual report lists 321 California stores as of January 31, 2026, more than twice the 159 in second-ranked Texas, and Target's store directory shows 17 locations within the city of Los Angeles. The first CityTarget stores opened in July 2012 in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle.
