US Bank Santa Monica Glass Replacement

Project Overview

Ramos Industries Inc. was called to perform an urgent glass replacement at the US Bank location in Santa Monica. The storefront system had a broken exterior sidelite, and our team was brought in to remove the damaged glass and install new clear tempered glazing while keeping the branch accessible to customers.

Scope of Work

• Removal of the damaged exterior glass sidelite
• Installation of new 1/2 inch clear tempered glass
• Reuse of existing perimeter U channels and floating header
• Careful setting of glass due to floating header and tight channel alignment
• Full cleanup and inspection after installation

Site Conditions & Challenges

The primary challenge was installing the new glass into an existing system that included a floating header and a U channel at the jamb. This required precise alignment and careful handling to ensure a secure and clean fit.

The new glass sidelite was installed successfully, restoring the storefront to full functionality with improved aesthetics and safety. The bank remained accessible to customers throughout the installation, and the project was completed efficiently within the morning business hours.
