Bullet Resistant Services
Bullet resistant glass and full barrier systems for banks, pharmacies, transit operators, government, and high risk retail, certified to UL 752 Levels 1 through 8.
Bullet resistant glazing is specified by ballistic performance level, not by glass thickness alone. We install bullet resistant glass and full barrier systems across California and Arizona for banks, pharmacies, transit operators, government, and high risk retail, with system level certifications to UL 752 Levels 1 through 8.
UL 752 defines eight performance levels based on the threat round the assembly must defeat. Level 1 defeats a 9mm handgun, Level 3 defeats a .44 Magnum, Level 5 defeats a 7.62 NATO rifle round, and Levels 6 through 8 step up to higher caliber automatic fire. The right level depends on the threat the building owner expects to face and any insurance carrier or AHJ requirement.
The assembly that delivers the rating is the full glass, frame, anchor, and seal package. Level 1 to 3 systems typically use bonded glass clad polycarbonate or laminated glass plies between 1.25 and 1.5 inches thick. Level 5 and higher use thicker assemblies, often 2 inches or more, with reinforced framing.
Common scopes: bank teller lines, pharmacy counters, gas station and convenience store kiosks, dispatch and transit operator booths, courthouse entries, school resource officer stations, and high risk retail front counters. We provide the design, fabrication coordination, and installation under one contract.
