Curtain wall is the building enclosure system that hangs off the structural frame rather than carrying gravity loads from the floor slab. We design, fabricate, and install both stick built and unitized curtain wall assemblies for new construction across California and Arizona. Every system is engineered to meet local wind load and seismic requirements, with insulated low e glazing options sized for the climate and the building envelope energy budget.
Curtain wall installation is one of the highest skill scopes in commercial glazing, and Ramos Industries has been delivering it on California and Arizona projects for over three decades. Our crews handle field measured stick built assemblies for low rise and mid rise projects, and unitized systems for high rise where the panels arrive at the site fully glazed and lift directly onto the structure.
We coordinate with the general contractor and architect on shop drawings, embed and anchor placement, AESS framing finishes, and thermal performance modeling. Glass selections include insulated double or triple glazed units with low e coatings, spandrel panels, ceramic frit patterns, and laminated security glazing where the program requires it.
Projects we are well suited for: hospital and medical office buildings, public schools and government facilities, hospitality, mid rise residential, and commercial offices. Our license stack covers C-17 in California and ROC 343677 in Arizona, with general liability and workers compensation coverage on every job.
For projects that require stamped engineering, pair this with our Engineering & Design service, which delivers the structural calculations and permit ready submittals for the curtain wall system.
